Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (cooled)

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1-2 green chilies, chopped

  • 8-10 curry leaves (optional)

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

  • Add green chilies, curry leaves (if using), and turmeric.

  • Sauté for a few seconds.

  • Stir in the cooked rice and salt, mixing well.

  • Turn off the heat, add lemon juice, and mix. Serve warm!
