Ingredients
½ cup rice (uncooked)
2 cups milk (whole or coconut)
¼ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
¼ tsp cinnamon or cardamom (optional)
2 tbsp raisins or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
In a pot, simmer rice with milk over low heat, stirring occasionally, until soft and creamy (about 20 minutes).
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Mix in vanilla, cinnamon, or cardamom.
Add raisins or nuts, serve warm or chilled.
